Pennies by Winds and Walls | Track Review

WHEN: New EP – January 29th

Winds and Walls are a four piece band from New York and this is their latest single Pennies. Very soon these guys will be releasing their new EP Still Lions at the end of the month, so now is the perfect time to get into them. These guys have already gained a strong following on the social media sites, and with Pennies it’s not hard to hear why.

Pennies immediately kicks things off with a bold guitar melody that brings forth elements of grunge and rock which teams up with some angelic sounding guitar chords which set up a lovely backdrop for frontwoman Rosie Pacla’s wonderful vocals. Winds and Walls work this strong beginning into a track that boasts a huge instrumental full of chords, harmonies and all sorts of different sections to keep it sounding fresh and always on the move. It’s great.
