Remember The Highs by Little Lapin | Track Review

LOVE.LIKE.ALRIGHT: LIKE

This is a track that tugs at the heartstrings. Little Lapin is a singer-songwriter from here in the UK who has been creating some lovely little tunes over the last couple years and with her latest track Remember The Highs, she might be breaking out into a whole new audience. If you’re into the likes of Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Summer Camp, even old school acts like Fleetwood Mac then you should definitely check her out. Deffo.

Remember The Highs is a track that excels at combining all kinds of instruments from guitars to synths to produce a song that blooms with all the feels. This slightly dreary sound accompanies Little Lapin’s wonderful voice as she focuses less on her breaking and calling a formerly significant other but more on why the person allows it to happen. It’s a nice take on the traditional heartbreak song while also containing some self-destructive undertones too, and yeah, it just sounds really rather good.

Stream Remember The Highs below, and hopefully Little Lapin will come out with another load of material soon. For more music reviews, free downloads and oh goodness I’m so lonely check out Exploding Head Syndrome on Facebook and Twitter.
