RUFUS – Sundream | Track Review

Months and months ago we checked out the last single from Australian trio RUFUS, and Take Me helped us become exciteable little boys when it came to upcoming music from this year. RUFUS did a brilliant job of taking their electronic sound and pairing it up with all kinds of hooks, beats and poppy affairs that would keep being naughty on the sly all night long. Next month the trio will release Sundream, and it is giving us that urge again.
Starting off slow Sundream delivers a synth beat with echo-y vocals to really illustrate a picture of being at the beach and watching the world through the hazy heat-filled airwaves. RUFUS then do a great job at building up tension and atmosphere with the addition of drums which eventually blooms into a feel good summer jam with a really chill vibe and once again it’s just another reason why being outside is way better than being inside.
