Blimp Rock – Lake Ontario Lifeguards | Track Review

Blimp Rock is a project that aspires to become more. Right now it’s a collective of musicians looking to deliver some pretty original, catchy music but the top priority for these guys is to build funds and hype for the first ever music festival to be performed in a blimp. Pretty crazy, but awesome too. They have already released their debut album Blimp Rock late last month which you can listen to and purchase too, but today we’re here to talk about their newest single Lake Ontario Lifeguards. It is not a load of hot air.
Lake Ontario Lifeguards is a catchy, easy listening track with some simple instrumentals created by some poppy drum beats and softly strummed guitars. All of this is driven by the chill delivery of the male vocals; which sound like the man performing them has never had to deal with any trouble in his life. The laid back performance easily fits the atmosphere of the instrumentals, and definitely makes sense to be played in a blimp. It’s very catchy, and good.
