The Moons – Heart And Soul | Track Review

The Moons are a four piece from England and this is their new single Heart And Soul. The band have released two albums so far, and Heart And Soul is the first glimpse into their third Mindwaves, which will be released 2ndJune via Schnitzel Records. If the record is anything as glam as this song then we are in with a great summer listen.
Heart And Soul is one hell of a catchy listen as it bares a strong influence from the glam rock heyday of David Bowie and Marc Bolan with all kinds of guitar riffs, horns and synths layered on top of eachother to create the most wonderful sounding mound of music I’ve heard in a long time. The track reeks of charm, swaggar and an energy that you cannot help but just enjoy. It’s a great piece of nostalgia which The Moons easily welcome into the modern times, and I cannot wait to hear more. Excellent track.
